Madonna nuda all'asta $37,500, foto bianco-nera

Da Christie's a Rockefeller Center di New York è stata venduta all'asta la foto della 20-enne Madonna nuda per 37.500 dollari. Un compratore europeo anonimo si è aggiudicato per telefono la foto con una stima di partenza di 15mila dollari.
Firmata nel 1979 dal fotografo Lee Friedlander l'immagine 'vintage' (ascelle non depilate, il sesso esposto nell'era antecedente del 'bikini line', pelosissimo e non tinto) era stata pubblicata su Playboy nel 1985.

A nude photo of a 20-year-old Madonna that appeared in Playboy has been sold at auction for $37,500.
Christie's believes that Lee Friedlander's full-frontal black and white image of the then-Madonna Louise Ciccone is a record auction price for a photograph of Madonna. A Herb Ritts photo of Madonna's True Blue album cover sold for over $15,000 in 2006.
An unnamed European buyer bought the 1979 photograph on Thursday. It had been estimated to sell for up to $15,000.
Madonna may have earned as little as $25 for the 1979 modeling session. Christie's says she was a 20-year-old dancer trying to make ends meet when she answered Friedlander's newspaper ad seeking a nude model.
The photograph appeared in Playboy in 1985.
